How to Get the Most Out of Your FLCA Membership
Attend our informative and enjoyable quarterly meetings. Dates and locations are listed on the website.
Make regular use of the FLCA website. The password to the Members Only Section will change every year in January. You will receive a membership card via email with the new yearly password when membership dues are paid.
Attend the biennial FLCA Lactation Conference. Information concerning the conference can be found on the website.
Volunteer to serve on a FLCA committee, even if you cannot attend the quarterly meetings. Just contact the FLCA president and let her know how you would like to participate more actively in our organization.
Renew your membership in a timely fashion. Membership extends from January 1 to December 31 of each year. By paying promptly by the end of the year, you will avoid being purged from the FLCA email list, and the members' registry. Paying promptly insures that there will be no lapse in your access to member services and lessens the work of such volunteer members as the Membership Chair, and the webmaster. Members who have not paid by January 1 each year will be purged from all member benefits and lists.
Be proactive, NOT reactive. Let's support each other in the goals of FLCA to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding and our profession!
